NATE LAUNCHES HIS FOOD TRUCK AT THE FARMERS MARKET
MIDLAND, Michigan (July 7, 2018) – Midland foodies can now find a new food truck, Nate’s Cart, that will provide them with a delicious dining experience. The young entrepreneur launched his new venture on June 30th at the Midland Area Farmer’s market. Created by 12-year-old Nate Surbrook, whose motto is “Good Food with Friends”, Nate’s Cart offers a fun menu of good old-fashioned Michigan hot dog cuisine.
Nate’s Cart uses fresh baked buns from local bakery Scratched Bread and Vienna style hot dogs from Koegel’s in Flint. One signature item is an authentic Detroit style chili dog made with National Coney chili sauce from Detroit. Other items include Better Made potato chips and Faygo soda pop. “I really like to use as many local ingredients as I can find” says Nate.
Satisfied customers had this to say about their recent visits: “My son and I went to the market today specifically to try Nate’s. We weren’t disappointed. Can’t go wrong with the Detroit Coney dog AND they serve Better Made chips and Faygo pop. All at an affordable price. Nate and his parents were wonderful, great customer service. This family did it right! I think we’ve found our Saturday lunch spot. Great job Nate! Hope to see you at some of the downtown Midland events.” Local food truck owner Jim Welch of Midland Burger Company commented Nate’s Cart Facebook page “Great hot dogs. Friendly Service.”
Nate’s Cart will be at the Midland Area Farmers Market for the 2018 season, and Nate will also be considering other venues in the future.
