WE’RE BACK FOR 2022!!!

MIDLAND, Michigan (May 7, 2022) – Nate’s Cart is open for the 2022 Season.  We have many new events and venues on tap for this season.  Our first day out was Saturday, April 23rd, and it was at our newest venue, Optimist Park, off Waldo Road.  We are so excited to be a part of the Midland Girls Softball League’s spring season at Optimist Park.  We will be selling our full dinner menu at select game days from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.   Please check our Facebook page for updates, or follow us on Instagram for the schedule, or any changes due to weather.

On May 7th, we were proud to be starting our fifth season at the Midland Areas Farmers Market.  It was nice to see so many of our friends as well as meet so many new friends.  We are very blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community of vendors and customers.

On May 14th, we will begin serving at another new venue, Midland’s Miracle Park.  We are honored to be a part of the inaugural season of Middle of the Mitt Miracle League.  Miracle Field is a universally accessible soft surface baseball diamond that offers athletes of all ages with cognitive or physical disabilities.  It is a safe and welcoming place to play ball without barriers.

Starting in June, we will also be at Tunes by the Tridge every Thursday night for the summer.  Follow us on Instagram, or “LIKE” us on Facebook to find out where we will be popping up next.

Nate’s Hot Dog Eating Contest

The Hot Dog Eating Contest was a blast. We had so much fun with everyone that came down to Midland Area Farmers Market to watch the event on Saturday, August 7th. We had 6 contestants: Doug Julian, Caleb Knapp, Andrew Mullin, Nicholas Soloski, Danny TerBurgh, and David Urlaub. It was a fierce competition and the 3 finalists were:

1st Place – Doug Julian

2nd Place – Dave Urlaub

3rd Place Caleb Knapp

The Midland Daily News did an amazing job covering the whole event. Check out the story at: https://www.ourmidland.com/photos/slideshow/Nate-s-Cart-hosts-hot-dog-eating-contest-at-225158.php

Thank you to all of the people and organizations that sponsored this event.

We are back for 2020

What a year 2020 is shaping up to be.  Our year started with an unfortunate house fire in January.  In March, like everyone else, we stayed home to help short circuit the pandemic. Then in May, we helped our neighbors recover from the historic flood.  I am glad to say that as of August 1, we are back at the Midland Area Farmer’s Market to share some of our good food with our friends. We would love to hear how your 2020 is going. Please come down and visit with us.

Good Bye for 2019

Dear Midland, The 2019 season has come and gone. We want to thank you for a wonderful year, it has been so much fun, and we have had a chance to meet so many beautiful people. Thank you for voting Nate’s cart number number one in this year’s Readers Choice Awards, what an unexpected and awesome surprise! Look for us next year at the Farmers Market , Tunes by the Tridge, and the city’s Fourth of July celebration. We are very blessed to live in such a wonderfully supportive community. THANK YOU!
